Bays You Reach Only by Sea
Small inlets along the Albanian coast where asphalt stops and only water grants access.

There are places along the Ionian coast where roads end but the sea continues — where the only way to arrive is to glide quietly on turquoise water. These are the hidden bays that remain untouched, known only to captains and locals.
Where land ends, solitude begins
Krorëz, Kakome, and the tiny coves north of Himarë all share one thing: isolation. They are framed by cliffs and pine, accessible only by yacht or local fishing boat. In summer, the water reflects the limestone walls like a mirror.
The experience
Anchor in a bay where your nearest neighbour is a sea bird. Swim, dive, or have lunch prepared on deck while the wind rustles through the rocks. These moments are not about luxury — they are about absence: no cars, no signals, no sound but water.
Best time to visit
Late May through early October offers the best balance between calm seas and warmth. Plan your route on our [Kakome & southern bays itinerary](/destinations/bunec-krorez-kakome) or [enquire for a day charter](/contact).
